Kowloon East, with a total area of about 488 hectares, comprises the Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay Business Areas and the Kai Tak Development Area. To maintain and further develop Hong Kong as an international financial and service hub, the Chief Executive's 2011 Policy Address announced that the transformation of Kowloon East into another CBD would be expedited. Engergizing Kowloon East Office (EKEO) of the Development Bureau was established in June 2012 to steer, supervise, oversee and monitor the transformation of Kowloon East. EKEO will showcase the development concept of a green CBD and smart city to delegates.
CIC ZCB was developed by the Construction Industry Council (CIC) in collaboration with the Government. It is the first zero carbon building in Hong Kong, tailor-designed for the sub-tropical urban context of the city.
Kai Tak Cruise Terminal is located at the Kai Tak Redevelopment area. The design of the Cruise Terminal Building adopts a sustainable building and construction approach that extends beyond low energy consumption to the overall long term sustainability performance of the building. The project team will showcase the planning, design and development of the Cruise Terminal.

Pick up from hotel and transfer to Asia World-Expo by coach to visit the Eco Expo Asia 2015 which organised by HKTDC and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, and co-hosted by the Environment Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Afterwards, experience the traditional Chinese culture and the greenery of Lantau Island, the largest island in Hong Kong with this multifaceted tour. Begin your journey with a cable car ride and experience the breathtaking view of Lantau Island. Walk through the Ngong Ping Village, including Po Lin Monastery and Giant Buddha, the world’s tallest outdoor seated bronze Buddha.

The tour continues to Tai O, a place also known as the Venice of Hong Kong, offering the type of small village charm with stilts houses for that has been part of Hong Kong for generations. Coach transfer back to the hotel.

Pick up from hotel and transfer to Sai Kung by coach. Get on a chartered boat for an exclusive cruise tour around the Sai Kung harbour and the islands around. Off to Jin Island to explore the spectacular hexagonal volcanic columns, also the diverse morphology of sea caves, sea stacks and sea arches, as well as depositional landforms such as beaches and tombolos.

Lunch at Leung Shuen Wan to enjoy a seafood meal prepared by the local fisherman. Then visit Sharp Island - known for being strewn with rocks that are endearingly shaped like pineapple buns. Take a walk over the tombolo as the sea recedes.

Tour concludes in Yim Tin Tsai, where you could learn the historical value of salt farms since the 1740s. Coach transfer back to the hotel.

Pick up from hotel and transfer to Mai Po Nature Reserve, A haven for thousands of migratory birds during autumn and winter, and bustling with vibrant insect life and plump gei wai shrimp in the spring and summer, the wetlands around the Mai Po marshes and Inner Deep Bay offer visitors a chance to experience Hong Kong’s biodiversity first-hand.

After lunch, continue the journey to Ping Shan Heritage Trail, which includes three villages and past temples, ancestral halls and a walled village, reflects a historical part of Hong Kong that has been populated by the Tang people since the late Yuan dynasty (1271–1368). Coach transfer back to the hotel.
